In today’s cultural climate there has been questions posed, but never answered directly and succinctly. Is the God of Christianity the same god of Islam? This question is being raised by many college professors for their controversial statements. These allegations and statements are reiterated over and over again and the answers to these questions seem to never be answered until today! Ryan and Stephen along with special guest Lee Bargerhuff have an open discussion on this very important topic.
- Do all roads lead to the same destination?
- Yes… But absolutely no!
- Quran tells them to say to christians: “our God and your God is One, and unto Him we surrender” (29.46)
- Christians believe Jesus is God, but the Quran is so opposed to this belief that it condemns Jesus worshipers to Hell (5.72)
- Ishmael and Islam?
- Quaran suggests that Abraham took both Ishmael and Hagar to Mecca under the order of God.
- It also said God commanded Abraham to sacrifice Ishmael.
- Fruit
- Christian fruit – love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
- Islamic Fruit- “Lay siege to the infidel destroying them in the name of Allah” (Chapter 9)
- Psalm 137:9 “Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.”
